Another leisurely morning for us all with the usual pancakes for breakfast before heading down to the Hotel Puri Cendana just before lunch to use their facilities. If you eat and drink there they will let you use the pool which is really lovely and far better and bigger than our own hotel pool. After lunch we head to Ku De Ta (which is one of 2 famous beach bars) in Seminyak to watch the sunset and have a cocktail. ... so I was happy to pay that. Once everything was paid for, I got in to the gear and got on to a boat and went out to the reefs that took about 30 minutes.

When we got out there I was told all the rules and then was told I could get into the water. I jumped in and went straight under it looked amazing there were fish everywhere I even saw a stingray. After swimming for about an hour I got back ...

      My week with Richard

... and so I waited. And then there were no more passengers left and Richard still hadn't come through. Eventually, he strolls through alone, still wearing his winter coat from London, and I run and jump, prompting an applause and collective "aahhhhh" from everyone else waiting at the arrivals gate.

Fortunately, Richard had picked up two extra large bars of chocolate from Duty Free and had them in his hand luggage (his main bag being lost somewhere ...
