... normal;">We headed back to 66 Corner for another stuffed chicken meal (it was THAT good!!) before we went back for our last showers. It was sad to pack everything up :( We got our transfer to the airport and made it all smoothly. It's Goodbye to Bali for now...sad to say goodbye and I REALLY wasn't looking forward to getting back to reality, but I'll be back!!
... with running out of propane for cooking, running out of drinking water, running out of electricity (it's pay as you go), running out of hot water, blowing fuses, and frying Inga's hairdryer, which had always before worked fine on 220-240 current. Wayan Ani has dealt with all of this almost immediately and with good grace.

They were going to send us off on our own with four of their horses. ... leapt into the road when it arrived. The bus dropped us in Batubulan bemo station, and, rather than waiting an hour or so for more passengers to arrive, we chartered the entire bemo to drop us in Ubud.
