... airport and whisked away via golf cart to a waiting boat for the trip to the resort. Amazing service.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the resort's senior management team and offered delicious watermelon juice as a welcome drink. The check in process began with an introduction to Shifaz, the man personally responsible for every detail of our stay. We conducted the check in formalities while sitting on comfortable couches perched over the crystal clear water ...

... One of them tried to attach to me before I surfaced...I totally freaked out! So crazy. But by our third day of diving we had developed a fun rapport with the crew, instructors and other divers. Pete, Paula, Colin and I brought some beers with us from the mini bar and we sat at the front of the boat after our last dive, drinking, laughing and sharing stories. We sat by the pool with Brett and Paul for awhile after we got back, then took a break for lunch. We lounged ...

We dove for about 45 minutes and saw turtles, a black tip shark, a sting ray and lots of reef and coral. When we got out of the water they had tea and snacks for us while we ...

... to be on the beach, but since it rained that afternoon (during our massages!) it moved to the Dhoni (an upside down boat) and one of the restaurants. They had Maldivian music, dancing, cocktails and appetizers. It ended up being a beautiful night, so Colin and I walked out to the jetty to catch the end of sunset. We stuffed ourselves at the delicious BBQ (lobster, tuna, lamb, beef, lots of sides and great desserts) before going back to the room and ...

... with nothing around us! We finally arrived at the Park Hyatt Hadahaa and knew right away we made the right decision on resorts. We met our hostess, Kelly, who will take care of us all week. She showed us around the resort and took us to our beautiful room. They upgraded us to a pool villa with a little path that takes us directly to the beach. Colin and I unpacked, took much needed showers and headed off to dinner. If I wasn't so ...
