... dinner, so last night we were on our own. Now Dolphin Bay is a bit of a small, country, fishing town with not a whole lot going on at night. We couldn't find a restaurant within walking distance so we ended up at the little store next door buying two minute noodles, bags of chips and fanta all for the grand sum of 129 Baht - about five dollars. We ate on our balcony over looking the South China Sea. Not too bad after ...

... I had read there was a second cave. I set off with my torch and took some photos in the dark my shock when I saw loads of white Buddhas in the background I can't explain I went back and grabbed Ayesha and we took more photos there was another reclining Buddha in there as well - such a great find and not another tourist in sight!! In the evening we are at the restaurant next door a really cheap meal yet again - off to the islands tomorrow ...

had to turn back and re trace by steps after dogs backing me down at each turn..
felt pretty defeated... - what a hard core experienced traveler!
I knew these were only tiny things and extremely temporary hurdles... ...

... schools in Thailand are on a long holiday and don't start back until mid May. I have found this to be a bit tricky as most of the teachers are away too and so it's been hard to make contact with anyone with any authority. I have some friends here who are teachers and they have been really helpful. I have been into 3 schools so far to look around and observe what goes on and I kinda have a strong feeling of which school I would like to work at already. I ...

    ... that for tomorrow.

Tonight after dinner we were introduced to the Fine Committee - consisting of Dad Thomas, Simon, Tony and Jack as Treasurer. Each night they will be handing out fines for the day which comprise of a 50 baht penalty. All the money raised, will be donated to the kids at the end of the ride. Oh and in an act of sheer genius, we had Dave (CEO of FujiFilm) go out and buy a Nespresso machine and 400 Nespresso ...
