    ... We went to four of its islands all with beautiful beaches but my favorite would be the one they called "Tanke". It isn't a typical island since the beach is inside and you have to literally get in to enjoy the clear waters of its beach. I would personally compare it to the hidden beach in Mexico.     ... to Kalibo and after 3 hours we were in Kalibo. That was fast, very fast. 042914 While in ceres terminal in kalibo i saw a tricycle and asked him if he can take me to the airport and he offered me P100 so i took it. Hey it was expensive but considering it was 3:00 am in the morning and i was alone. A 10 min tricycle ride and i was in the airport. Check in at 5:30 am then the long wait, flight was 7:55 am. Toinks!!! And Manila!!! Back to reality... More pictures ...

    ... When I was ordering, the worker asked, "Filipino?"

    "Chinese." I responded.

    "Oh." She said. "You got the Filipino face." That comment threw me off a bit.

    So far in my study abroad experience, people have mistaken me as Chinese main lander, Filipino, Korean, Taiwanese, or Vietnamese. People are usually surprised to find out that my parents are ethnic Chinese from Vietnam. That throws them into confusion for some reason.
