... I'll soon be moving on.

Turns out, Albufeira is fantastic! the old town is build on a cliff overlooking a rugged coastline--and then there's this tunnel you can go through that leads to the ocean--and at night the bars around the plaza are booming with dance music and some really good live bands...and 3 Euros for a fish dinner? Can't beat that!

A nice hike along the rocky coast heading east as well...

Alvor was a treat. Arriving at about lunchtime we went to look at the Aire which was huge open and pretty full. They are so desperate for company they bark viciously, which is their man given job, while desperately wagging their tails with their lonely dog hearts. I presume it is a security thing. The sound of Portugal for me will forever be the tiny plonk plonk of olives dropping on the roof, the clakking of the storks and the whole night ...

      STILL IN SILVES

Hi all, we are still in Silves. Unbeknown to us, we seem to have landed on one of the best campsites around and now we are reluctant to move on. It is good as we are close to the historical town centre (5 mins) which is seriously old (still the Moors and Christians fighting after they kicked out the Romans), there is electric connections, free internet, a supermarket two minutes away, good showers, few tourists and loads ...
