    ... bar so the pool water tasted like alcohol and it wasn't very nice. But on the upside the beach was really nice. We flew to Phuket yesterday and the plane ride was really bumpy at the start but ok at the end. So far Phuket is not very hot and rains A LOT. We are wearing jeans at night time and don't get hot.     ... the air conditioning was a relief if nothing else. Patong was a bit of a grubby area and as the wet season was there no one much was swimming.
