... 700 baht gets us in to actually pat and have photos taken with the small tigers, not the little babies but the 3-6 months old ones. The place is immaculate, no smell, the animals look shiny, healthy and fit and the staff are very protective. Elephant safari day

... them move left, right and back if they don't respond to their feet. Our trainer used his feet occasionally and spoke quietly to the elephant - he never used his hook once - neither did any of the other trainers that I saw- reassuring. After the exhilaration of the ride we had lunch which was really tasty- chicken curry, noodles, prawn crackers ( or baby elephant ears as Wi teased) mixed vegetables , water melon and bananas . Our return flight to Australia is not until mid afternoon next Wednesday, so this would work out quite well.
