Days 11 and 12: Pisa, Florence and Rome
... here!! YAAAY!!!! Our apartment is great, and we are right across the street from Castel Sant'Angelo and walking distance from Vatican City. We walked to the castle and St. Peter's Square tonight and then went to dinner -- which was another delicious, family meal -- and then headed back to the apartment. After lunch we returned to the ship, and I continued my explorations. It's amazing how much space there is on this ship. I then made my birthday calls home to my mother and sister, and then took a siesta….

Day 7 - Cinque Terre
... This village had the most cafes and shops of the 5 towns. We had about an hour of free time to recharge, shop and swim if we wanted. I didn't have my suit but I was so sweaty I would have gone in fully clothed. The rest of the hikes were fairly easy. We took a short train and a moderate path next to the final village of Monterollo, voted as one of the world's sexiest beaches. The landscape here was amazing and the beaches were quite large.
