    This is my last night at home before I head out to Guatemala via Houston.
    I'm too nervous to sleep and I'm enjoying my bedroom for the last time.
    I am also finishing some last minute music downloads and playlist editing for my ipod. Setting off at 4:30 in the morning for London Heathrow. I will also be keeping a personal journal as well as an online blog.

    We have had a great visit with an old school friend in the Lincolnshire countryside. Lincoln appears to be the only hill in the county which is, presumably, why the place is awash with airfields (108 current and past). Lincoln itself is the archetypal olde English city with cathedral and castle on top of the hill and all streets leading ever upward! The trouble is - when you walk down you know you have to walk up again! The steepest is even called Steep ...

    ... At least it gave the ambulance drivers at the track something to do and after bandaging they suggested it needed to be x-ray'd. An hour later she had been x-ray'd (not broken), steri-stripped and bandaged up and we were back at the track to watch Kevin's final race. Dinner and music at the track that evening followed by another great day of racing. Kevin had completed both his events on Saturday so we only had Lance racing on the Sunday.
