    ... right Pete booked us the top room whoop! Marvelous ....actually that was the name of the suite. We dropped our bags and headed off to explore, so walked in the direction of the town called Thira.     ... 3.10 pm ferry! Wow, what a welcome! So we got driven to Fira by the owner of Antonias and by God, he was a hell of a neat guy.....he made our holiday!

    ... tried one of the restaurants close by suggested by Maria: Athermi Restaurant. It was about 100m away from our hotel and there we had our first traditionally Greek meal. I can't remember exactly what he had, but for starters we shared baked feta, more out of interest to see what it would be. New realms of tasting pleasure opened up for us that afternoon.
