We had got some coffee, tea and milk in town last night so on rising after a reasonable sleep (bed a bit hard for my liking) and making a cuppa I sent Vernon off to find out what the procedure was for receiving our free breakfast (included in room rate). When he returned he informed me that when you are ready, you let them know and they will bring it for you to enjoy on your private deck. Breakfast was ...

There was a lady behind me who repeated 'I don't like this' and 'slow down buddy' some twenty times as the bus does travel alongside a cliffs edge. I just turned my music up. ... to yet again be spellbound by the beautiful streets and delightful people. Like most of the places we have visited, apart from the sometimes ancient history, most of the buildings we see are reasonably modern. Dietmar says he has seen most of the housing go up in the time he has lived and worked in Greece over the past 18 years - quiet a contrast compared to what I saw in Athens. Cuisine highlight for today was fresh grilled sardines - I'll ...
