    ... we paid it - that's what credit cards are for right? After a little negotiating and getting 5,000 off, oh and the credit card fee it was a deal.     ... br> After the 2nd dive we headed back to the boat and once everyone was aboard we headed back to the mainland. Our dive school kindly drove us to collect our bags then dropped us at our new resort, which is nice, then we had dinner and a few beers before dozing the evening away and chilling in our room after being shattered from our diving.

    We hired a bike for the day and went off to explore Samui. It was stunning!! We saw a buffalo next to the road eating and went over to speak to the couple with it. The lady told us it was used for fighting. She told us that there's big money in buffalo fighting and often Thai families would put their money together to buy, train and enter their buffalos into competitions- it can cost a million baht! Only winning the fight produces a decent return. It's not like bull fights ...

    ... just so expensive it's 300bart EACH in a 8 bed dorm, whereas in Bangkok it's 275bart for both of us, so we will have to go back there. In the evening, went went to the restaurant called The Pier and had some dinner, before watching another movie and crashing around 9pm!!
