... our stockings - kindly prepared by Vicky so a big shout out goes to her - and heard the usual **** Christmas carols that we'd managed to avoid until then. But in many ways it was different: I awoke to a Christmas miracle which was the sight of Martin asleep and clad like Jesus; Bella, our host, arranged a Thai BBQ as a special Christmas dinner; and, best of all, I didn't have to pretend that I liked my presents.
