Plain, undecorated clogs are for gardening, red clogs are for dancing and celebrations, and special clogs with carved designs are made for weddings. The farmer demonstrated how he can make a pair of clogs in about three minutes. We also had a mini-lesson about the cheese making process and we were able to sample different flavours. ... awesome. Then we headed round the architecture sites etc before returning to the RLD coffees to check out The Bulldog, the oldest coffeeshop, The Greenhouse, the famous persons coffee shop and to Cafe Basjoes the coffee shop with the best "cakes".
A final stroll back down the river and then back to the hostel to collect our things then to our trains. I write this section as we sit on our 2nd transfer. I'll include the night train in tomorrows blog!
