... at our boat, Afroditi. Santorini was formed from a volcano, Nea Kameni - we visited some sulphuris hot springs near the still active volcano. I was stained orange after coming out of the water. Insta-tan! Then we hiked the volcano and had great views of Santorini island and the cities of Oia and Fira. ... our way to the path that goes over the hill, and walked up a little to the first chapel on the hill (there are two chapels on the hill). We continued up the hill to the second chapel at the summit. It was very windy!!! Art Maisons Oia Castle property is covered each evening with hundreds of people watching the spectacular Oia sunsets. These people are perched on cliffs, hanging out hotel windows, standing in walkways, sitting in restaurants.
