So after a brief surfing interlude we were back on the bus to Byron Bay. We arrived there at about 4.30 and checked into the Holiday Village hostel which is conveniently located opposite Cheeky Monkeys, a backpackers bar (think Walkabout and you get the idea) that provided us with dinner for $5, unlimited free jugs of beer and wine and the opportunity to dance on tables. So that was our evening sorted!
