Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria
... Gran Canaria at sunset we were greeted with a dramatic coast line of cliffs in deep orange with clouds sitting in the peaks. We came into the lovely Puerto Mogan at night and Sunshine Maritime's Mike and Mayla assisted Skipper Paul May put Taboo snugly into her berth. Chillin on the Beach in Africa - Almost...
... almost no plants, not even cacti! The only plants are the palm trees planted around the resorts. We flew into the main airport and it was extremely windy and kind of chilly, so immediately we were worried that our week in the sun would be ruined. But we took the bus all the way south to Playa del Ingles (rightly named as a ton of British people vacation there), and it was nice and hot with perfect blue skies!

... assigning seats we were spread all over the plane. At least Naomi, Lewis, Lamiyah and Remae were able to sit together and the flight was on time.
Okay, having so far slagged Easy Jet off, I have to say that the flight was very good. The service was excellent and the 3 or 4 stewards worked very hard. The drinks trolley was 'on the go' all the flight.

das essen. Am letzten Abend waren wir in einem Tapas restaurant, ich
koennte mich wirklich jeden tag nur von tapas ernaehren. Sooo lecker.
Auf Gran Canaria wird ueberall mega viel Knoblauch rein gemacht, und die
haben die besten Sossen, rotes Mojo und aioli. Hmmmm.
