1 week thru RCI at Encantada was great!

We arrived about 1 AM, and could not get in past the gate as the directions for the keypad to open the gate would not work. We were tired from a long flight and I was starting to wonder what we would do when a vehicle pulled up behind us and a young man came up and entered his own number, which gave us entry. Driving in we soon found the main building and the night staff were very friendly and helpful. After signing us in, we followed the one staff member to our condo where he showed me how the keypad worked for the door. On entering, we were very impressed. The place was very clean, big and surpassed our expectations.
During our week long stay we enjoyed the pools (2) and I even used the exercise room once. The location is excellent, as it is only 2 miles from Disneyworld's Animal Kingdom. The facilities, as I said, were very nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely go again. The place were were in had a hot tub (which had to be topped up once, and this was done quickly), 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, living room and 2 TV's.
The only problem we might have had was to find the place the first time. Thank goodness for GPS, as it took us right there, or we would never have found it.
    Highly recommended.

After exploring the resort for a little while we headed to Epcot. The bus to Epcot arrived after about five minutes. Once there, we went to Club Cool to try out some of the new Coke flavors from around the world. Since we had time to spare before lunch, we decided to do something we've never done, O'Canada. It's a 15 minute 360° movie showing the beautiful ...

... but I have to say it was extremely hot even for a Queenslander who loves the warmth and we as adults needed to communicate better. The pomp and ceremony that only the US can do was an amazing experience but the park was packed even according to the staff were very long waits for each ride even with fast passes and the whole experience was exhausting for all.

    Hooray for Hollywood!

We planned an easy morning here after our full day yesterday, with a mid-day break at the pool back at Fort Wilderness, and then a return to Hollywood for an evening of Christmas lights and shows (You get extra Disney Hours when you stay at a Disney resort-including the campground!) As this was not our first ride on this merry go round we did not need to rush to see everything. ...
