08.The so called Castle of Oulu
We had read that there were castle ruins in Oulu and that there was a cafe in the tower which had been rebuilt in 1873. Nice spot for a coffee we thought. Well it was a sorry excuse for a castle, we knew there wasnt going to be much of it left but they could have at least made the tower look a little like the remaining stones! We didnt even get a coffee...it was shut!
