Memorial Shrines
These are all over Paraguay. This is what I understand..in this culture, when someone dies, you build a memorial for them..I have seen them as small as a doghouse and as big as a vault that you can walk into. They are along the sides of streets (where people have died in accidents and so forth) and there are many who have their memorial in the yard of their home. If this is the case, that means their child or baby died...the only reason to burry them in your patio (yard).
