07 - Glacial Face, Neko Harbour
Taken from the top of the mountain at Neko Harbour, this gives a good perspective of the glacier as it meets the Antarctic ocean.
During the couple hours our landing party stayed at Neko, the thundering of the glacier as it calved ice sheets into the sea was magnificent. Like a summertime thunderstorm which echoed off the walls and icefields of the harbour.
