01 - Edge of Empire
Standing on guard for the Union Jack, at Great Britain's Port Lockroy Scientific Research station (which has a great historical museum, left intact from the firts part of the century, plus a great gift shop and a postal service).
The station has a permanent staff of 3, all from Scotland this time, much to the delight to one of the travelling Scots on this trip. The flag of St Andrew flew over the base, perhaps nobody back in London was paying attention ;')
