Roads of Rwanda
This is the best road in the country ... as good as it gets. Basically this is Rwanda's interstate system. I've learned that roads are a lot different
in a country where the majority of people walk everywhere they go. If you drop below this quality everything else is either
broken pavement, dirt, or worse ... 4x4 territory.
See the people walking along the road? You'll see that everywhere you drive. In fact, on the two hour trip from Kigali to Butare there isn't a
single stretch of road where you don't see someone walking. And in the the city it is absolutely chaotic.
