As I was sitting on a park bench watching people walk by, I saw this woman walking her dog. There was nothing strange about it until she let him off of his leash and he just stood there. Even when she coaxed him to follow her onto the snow, he wouldn't move...he was scared. As she walked into the middle of the park, the dog remained on the trail closely watching her, waiting for her to come back. When she called his name and he realized she wasn't coming back, he finally ran out to meet her. Once he "broke the ice" so to speak, he was fine. He ran around and played in the snow the rest of the time I watched them. But it was so funny to see a dog afraid of the snow because I have never seen that before.
