This guy suddenly came out of the water right in front of me at Autzen Park in Eugene! I was holding my 1yr. old granddaughter. It scared me to death! I had never seen anything like this, being I am from Michigan. It was unusually large for its kind. It must have weighed about 40 pounds! A homeless man in the park told me that it was a nutria. Thanks for the chance to send the postcard to friends.
