Christian Fletcher
Christian Flether is a pro surfer that introduced himself to me when I was star gazing at Desert Point. He wanted to know a few of the constellations, so we struck up a conversation. The next day I saw him role out into the surf at around noon. He paddled straight out and caught the wave of the day with three barreling section and massive floater at the end of the 300 plus meter ride. He strolls back up the beach. I ask him if he has had enough. "Yep, I ain' t going to catch a better wave all day". He lit up a ciggy and cracked open a Bingtang which he sipped during his massage under the palm fraund shelter. Being a well traveled character indeed, I asked him a few questions for the blog.
Where are you from?---- California and Hawaii
What has been your favorite destination during your travels?------- Earth. Why worry about being someplace you are not?
Why? Cuz it is where you are at now.
What was your best travel moment?------- Arriving. Traveling sucks.
What about the worst travel moment?-------- Plane crash in France. The front wheels went out. I slid down the slide onto the run way.
The funniest travel moment?----- Too many to think of...maybe seeing five people on a scooter.
What is your best travel tip?--- Don't read the internet. It tells the Americans, English, and Canadians to stay out of Indonesia.
What is the most interesting food you have ever eaten?--I drank cobra blood after they cut it's head off and squeezed it into a vile. I also ate dog. Both make you feel hot inside
