12 - Broke Back Crane

I had to look twice at this crane, but found it quite funny to imagine some guy trying to lift a weight too heavy and completely wreaking some pretty expensive machinery. Actually it's a little bit representative of anything mechanical here in Africa. Everything here has been repaired, but most times repairs have been repaired and then the repairs repaired. Still as a form of recycling, Africans will take your old car that you think is ready for the rubbish pile and make it go around the clock a few more times.
