Ice Fountain at Lousac Library

This is an ice fountain in Anchorage Alaska . . .
In the summer it is a mild mannored fountain . . .pumping water . . . pretty . . .but snooze.
In the winter . . WHEN it is working .. . (I have went to see it maybe a 100 times and this is the first time it was actually working)they pump boiling water through it. Recycling the water that drips off .. . and illuminate it at night. . .
A winter fantasy. . . that is ever changing . . as long as the pumps work in the freezing weather!
