02 - Kim in Yingge's old street
Yingge is famous for making pottery, and as the industry has dwindled due to mass production, has increasingly turned to tourism. This is Yingge's "old street", a tourist development of shops, cafes and galleries. It's pretty to walk around, but it really is just glorified tourist tat.
Kim's eating fruit on a stick - a Taiwanese street food goodie. You never see the Taiwanese walking around eating a piece of fruit normally, it has to be chopped up and skewered, and preferably covered in liquid sugar. Heaven forbid they eat anything that's actually healthy!
