06 Dining Room at Linderhof
This is where "mad" King Ludwig II dined in solitary splendor. The table descended to the kitchen on the level below, where the table settings and food were placed on it. Then the table was raised once more to King Ludwig's dining room. Since the mechanism took as much as 15 minutes to raise the table, Ludwig often ate cold food.
