View from Hohenneuffen
This view to the north overlooks the town of Beuren. There are 19 towns in Germany named Beuren, and this is the largest. It is not, however, the best known. That would be Benediktbeuren in Bavaria, which is where the Burana Codex was found. The texts were set to music by Carl Orff as "Carmina Burana".
