I went to the Carpathians a couple weeks ago for the weekend. We had great weather and a good amount of fresh snow. I did a couple nice hikes, but I have to admit that climbing a mountain (even though small) without snowshoes in the winter isn't the best idea. This picture I took with a filter to take out all color except red - I really liked how it turned out.
