Ha'amonga is a 12-ton stone trilithon constructed from three limestone slabs about 5m high x 2m wide x 6m long. Ha'amonga 'a Maui was built at the beginning of the 13th century and thought most likely to be an entrance to Tuʻi Tonga Tuʻitātui's royal compound Heketā.
