Hokey Pokey is truly a New Zealand delicacy. It's a creamy vanilla ice cream with little crunchy bits of toffee in it. We first had it as a dessert on our ANZ flight from Sydney to Auckland, and for the rest of the time we pursued the Hokey Pokey relentlessly. Tip Top brand is the best! Since we spent so much time in the car (without a freezer), we needed to eat up what we bought. So we'd acquire a 1L box, cut the box into 4 pieces with a pocketknife, then dig in, enjoying the deliciousness straight from the box.
