OK so I could stand some weather like this: sunshine, liquid water...although I see the beach is not so packed with bodies as it was last time I was there! The snow is seriously coming down here, I can still see the barn, but barely. A foot on the ground and 1-3 more inches today...so be happy you're at least warmer than we are !

Hey what are the chances you'll get to the south again before you leave? The islands south of Spain: Majorca, Minorca, (there's another one).? I've always wanted to go there and drink glass of Madeira...so get our your binoculars and check 'em out for me! I hear you're thinking of a jaunt to Rome, or Ireland. Brrr! Ireland's gorgeous but I bet Rome is toasty warm. Of course they do speak a certain variant of English in Ireland, until you get to the West anyway, but Italian should be a snap after 2 months of crash course in Basque! Happy travels xo CDuff
