BEIJING IDOL?

 
This songbird was entertaining the crowds in the grounds of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. We think she was participating in some sort of karaoke contest. The three singers before her hardly roused a clap but she finished to thunderous applause. No, we don't understand why either.
