Entrance to the Citadel

   
Entrance to the Citadel, Hue, Vietnam

There are 5 arches into the Citadel. The centre one for was for exclusive use by teh Emperor, the two either side were for Mandarins (left for Academics, right side for miltary. The outer two were for Civilans and Elephants. Above the arches is the area on which the Emperor viewed parades.
