02 Our slow-boat-to-China digs
You gott'a love overland travel. You wouldn't get this on an aeroplane. This is Henk showing you guys the accommodation we had on the Weidong ferry to China. We basically slept on a mattress in the ferry ballroom. It was very comfortable. The thing we couldn't understand was how few people there were on boat. So much for the line we heard at the ferry terminal the night before that the ferry was sold out. Weidong ferry. Weihai port, Shandong province, Eastern China. February 5th, 2006
