The Washington Monument?
No. Only a look-alike. This one was built to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the founding of Buenos Aires. The boulevard that it is in the middle of is the widest street in the world. I counted about 20 lanes for cars - plus three medians. It is impossible to walk across the whole street in one cycle of the traffic lights. (I did manage to run across in one cylce, though!)
