The soul-stirring gospel choir at Glide. The reverend came to the church in 1963. There was a congregation of 75. One of the first things he did was remove the cross that used to be on the wall behind the choir. The space is now used for an emotive slide show - portraits of people, anti-war protests, civil rights campaigners, quotes and images of nature are projected throughout the service. The church now has 1500 strong congregations.
