We made a special stop to do the 1 hour walk around Lake Matheson, near Fox Glacier. Lake Matheson is the most photographed lake in New Zealand on account of the fact that if you have the right weather a perfect reflection of Mount Cook and Mount Tasman can be seen in the lake.
