The entire city of Ayutthaya is a UNESCO World Heritage site and this kind of Khmer (Cambodian) corn-cob styled chedis are everywhere, no mater where you go. Historically the Khmer Empire and Ayutthaya/Siam (now Thailand) warred back and forth over each others borders which is why you often find Khmer architecture in Thailand.
