Firstly, thank-you everyone for your ongoing support. This is going to be a trip of a lifetime and knowing we have support and genuiune interest at home is amazing! Thanks!

Now onwards with Benin...We are 3 YMCA volunteers going to do HIV/AIDS awareness work in Benin with other Canadians and Beninoise youth. We begin our adventure in Montreal, meet for 1st time & do a 5days pre-dept training. Our trip to West Africa begins February 2nd, with a stopover in Casablanca, Morrocco, enroute to Cotonou, Benin. After 4days in Cotonou the group gets split up & half of us head off to Porto Novo.
