April 2008 : Enchanted by Medieval Edinburgh

After spending the first few initial blissful days with Argi among his friends and collegues in Leeds, we took a train to Edinburgh, which is the starting point of our onward travel to the highlight of this trip - the Scottish Highlands! I have been to Edinburgh about 13 years ago but besides the Castle, I could not remember much of everything else. So, it was nice to re-discover this beautiful city, especially with Argi by my side. Although we have only spent 1.5 day here, we felt it sufficient to get our introduction dose of the much talked-about "Scottish friendliness", which we hope to experience further and confirm its truth during the remaining of our stay in Scotland.**XA**
