Trip to Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil. Two months travel; 3 months placement with kids in Brazil ... never done it before so why on earth is this grannie off? Just a very late gap year perhaps.

Hi,
Massive waterfalls, crowded carnival and underprivileged kids ... this is the pull, plus a daughter who nearly speaks Brazilian Portuguese. So kicking and screaming I am to be dragged off very soon. This is just the opening paragraph of the grand adventure. Dragged by husband Peter who will be off around South America alone while I teach. Buenos Airies first stop so more on touch down.
