Nepal is an exotic mountain kingdom that has only been open to westerners for a few decades. We are going here to experience the culture, the dramatic mountain scenery and to try and capture photos of tigers at Chitwan National Park. The adventures will be plentiful and the available oxygen sparse, as we ascend to 11,000 feet during a six day trek. Don't expect daily updates, as I plan to leave the computer behind in Kathmandu when we set out on the trek. But I will update the blog as I can. Join us on this journey to a land of incomparable beauty!
