My first major motorcycle-centric trip was in Arizona. I flew in and rented a HD for 10 days, trying to squeeze in as much of the landscape as possible. Sure, I'd gone on week long trips in New England, but to go somewhere off my beaten path was a real challenge. It felt like the right thing at the right time.
