I would like to invite you to follow the gemological expedition I had with one of my former students during summer 2006 to the Jagdalek ruby mining area in Afghanistan.
Our purpose was to explore these famous ruby mines, to get a first hand update about their activity, create local contacts and to collect some scientific samples in order to increase our "Emerald Origin Determination" capacities...
