An epic adventure from Singapore to St Petersburg

| | | To kick off 2008 I am swapping one classroom for another. I have taken 6 months leave from my teaching job to explore part of the world I have long neglected.
I originally thought this trip would be a 3 month stint living in Italy and have been learning the language for the past 2 years. How plans change.
Before I started my planning I mapped my previous travels on tripadvisors travel map only to discovered that I had been to Italy twice but had never ventured into my own backyard of South East Asia.
This trip will see me travel through Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, China, Mongolia and Russia.
