About this blog

After getting the invitation to go to a wedding on the Polish Baltic Coast, I decided to make a "full trip", starting with Warsaw where I explored for a couple of days. I met someone in a bar who said I should see MALBORK, the largest castle in Europe, so spent a night there on my way to the wedding which was an AMAZING weekend experience. After recovering, I hired a car because I wanted to see the ROSPUDA Valley in Eastern Poland which is currently the scene of much eco-protest about the proposed route of the Via Baltica Mortorway. Called in on Hitler's "Wolf's Lair" on the way, spent a couple of days in Gdansk, then trained over to LUBECK where I spent another day before 11-hour train-trip back to London
