Canada & New England

About this blog

Hello all,

for many of you who enjoyed our world traveling blog, will be pleased to know that we are going to be giving you all the insights of our trip to Canada and New England; whilst others (I won't name you) will be thinking "Oh no, not another blog to read!!!"

The good news is that I'm not going to listen to these doubters, subsequently this blog will commence even before we have started the trip - I know you are all now sitting at the edge of your computer chairs waiting in excitement to read the first entry! In addition to the informative entries you will be reading, some may notice that our use of grammar and punctuation has vastly improved since our last blog - its called spell check and has nothing to do with the fact that we are now qualified teachers!

Now for many of you I have already gone on for far too long and you'll be wanting to get back to your twitter feed, facebook account or whatsapp messenger, so I will now give you a short blurb based on our trip this summer.

Our trip starts in what many believe to be the capital of Canada, Toronto (see you're learning aren't you!?). Here we will be meeting our travelling buddies Darcie and Steve for the evening before we start our road trip East.

Order of visits (with some topics of interest): Bonjour Canada -Algonquin National Park (Wolf howling, first camping experience) -Ottawa (the capital city) -Montreal (do you speak french? Notre Dame) -Quebec (old and more french speaking) Good Morning America -Bar Harbor: Acadia National Park (hiking, rocking climbing) -Camden/Portland (lobster lobster lobster) -New England (Kennebunkport, Meredith, New Hampton, Woodstock) -Boston (Freedom trial) -Cape Cod/Provincetown (Whale watching) -Rhode Island (Newport and Mystic) -New York -Finger Lakes -Niagara Falls

Now by looking at the map below this seems like a small trip in relative terms but we will still be covering around 4500km in 3 weeks, which is similar to travelling back and fourth from London to Glasgow 3 times - or London to Senegal - over 42hours of driving. We look forward to sharing our trip with you

There are no entries for this trip yet.
