'don't interrupt me when i'm talking crap!'

when i was in nepal six years ago i was only able go into the mountains for a few days...and while i was there i sensed that i could spend weeks hiking in the himalayas. ever since i got back from that trip i've wanted to return to nepal to do a proper trek...and what struck me as the most interesting way to do it would be to travel overland from beijing through tibet into nepal.

i had plans to move to france to work for a year, but they fell apart in the face of overwhelming bureaucratic nonsense...so at the last minute i switched over to my much dreamed of revisiting of the himalayas, with the added bonus of a return to india on the way home.
